The Bayer Center is offering both group and one-on-one training to help organizations prepare for successful registration.

  • Classes:  Classes will cover creating transparent, participatory board governance, organizational practices, and community engagement, and will last 2.5 hours.  Classes will range in size, but will include at least 5 people.  We encourage groups that include adjoining CDC's, and will offer opportunities for such groups to discuss collaboration.  Organizational representatives can attend for the governance section or the entire session.

  • Coaching Sessions: These are one-on-one (or one-on-two) sessions to inform and train representatives from single organizations to address a particular aspect of RCO requirements.  These sessions will run 1 or 2 hours, depending on the content.   Specific coaching topics include:

    • Bylaws review

    • Policy Development

    • Communication planning

    • Moving from a fiscal sponsorship to 501c3 status

Let us know through the contact form if you have another coaching need related to the RCO                   application process, and we will do our best to accomodate it.
